June 2020 drivers SChool

Nolan's first drive in a race car came in June of 2020, at the Waterford Hills Road Racing SCCA Drivers School, driving a Formula Continental F2000. In the first three days of driving the FC, Nolan not only earned his SCCA novice license, but he passed the class with flying colors, and shocked his instructors by running the car very close to the longstanding track record. It is a record held by a two time SCCA Formula Continental National Champion (2014/2020), Robert Allaer, who is Nolan's father. His untrained raw pace throughout his first weekend in the car and on track established Nolan as a rookie driver to keep an eye on.

2020 SCCA Regional series

After a successful SCCA school, Nolan went on to race in the club's 2020 regional series, competing in the Formula Continental class. Additionally, Nolan had a rewarding podium in a one-off race in the Formula Ford class at Mid-Ohio. His first experience in a wingless race car.
